Ao Nang is one of the most touristic cities in the province of Krabi, in southern Thailand. It has long white sandy beaches and natural parks. One of them is accessed via the "Monkey's trail", a beautiful walk along wooden walkways that takes you to Pai Plong beach and the pier to reach the famous Railey Beach.
It is a route suitable for adults and children. Just be careful with the wooden stairs, they can be steep and narrow in some sections.
In about 20min you reach the end of the route. You will see a security post where you will have to write down your name and time of arrival/departure.
It is a pleasant walk and highly recommended during your stay in Ao Nang.
As the name of the trail indicates, you should see some monkeys on the trail. When we did it, it was rainy season and we didn't see any. However, if you see them, take care of your personal belongings and do not feed them.
