Itinerary description
From a distance, Lake Montargil appears as a serene water body set against a backdrop of forests. However, getting to the lake from the town of Montargil can be quite challenging. One has to navigate through busy roads. The lakeshore itself isn't the most welcoming, with cleanliness being an issue. Additionally, many access points are blocked by fences. As evident in this itinerary, we even had to reroute through private land.
We have been told that the other side of the lake is nicer.
