O Muíño da Balsiña Ruta B: Circular por Area Recreativa de Toiriz (muy recomendable)

ES: Una ruta circular muy facil de ~60 minutos desde O Muíño. El GPS no siempre funciona bien en el fondo del valle, pero la ruta es fácil de navegar y no es técnica. Si tienes suerte, puedes escuchar un cuco o una abubilla.

Desde O Muíño no cruzamos el puente. Ascendemos por la pista pasando el aparcamiento y continuamos hasta la aldea de Foxacos. Nuestra ruta bordea Fafias y Barrio pero puedes andar por estas aldeas si quieres ver las casas y jardines. Cruzamos el río por la pasarela de hormigón en la 'zona recreativa' (playa fluvial y merendero) en Toiriz. Giramos a la izquierda y seguimos la pista cuesta arriba. Luego nos unimos a la carretera por solo 100m antes de dirigirnos al norte en una pista recta. Una vez que llegamos a la pequeña señal de madera 'Ponte da Balsiña' nos dirigimos cuesta abajo al puente de madera y O Muíño. Después de la caminata no olvides revisar tu cuerpo para detectar garrapatas pequeñas.

From O Muíño don't cross the bridge. Ascend the track past the carpark and continue to the aldea (hamlet) of Foxacos. The route shown goes around Fafias and Barrio but you can walk through these hamlets if you would like to see the houses and gardens. Cross the river via the concrete footbridge at the 'area recreativa' (river beach and picnic area) in Toiriz. Ascend, then join the road for 100m and head north on a straight track. Once you reach the small wooden 'Ponte da Balsiña' sign head downhill to the wooden footbridge and the mill. After the walk don't forget to check your body for tiny ticks.
