Periana a Venta de Zafarraya, Málaga a Granada.

We went in our bus to Periana and after our breakfast we began our walk along what used to be the route of the train to Venta de Zafarraya. It is a route which we have walked many times before. In 2009 I sent a complaint to the Local Government concerning the fact that part of the route from Periana was through a dump. I wrote to the Mayor, four years later that first part of the route is somewhat cleaner but still has plastic rubbish strewn along the way. It´s a pity because it is a much used route and one suitable for families. From the Waypoint "cruce" it is possible to take a shorter route to the left which joins today's route at the Waypoint "Bridge Over". It is a well known route, which has no mystery or difficult parts, and it is suitable for all the family. It has views of the Viñuela Reservoir on one side and on the other the village of Guaro. Arriving at Venta de Zafarraya the route passes through a tunnel, a picnic area and the children's playground. On the road nearby, there are signs showing the border between the Provinces of Malaga and Granada. So we walked form Malaga to Granada.

Fuimos en un autobús a Periana donde después de desayunar empezamos la ruta de la vía del tren a Venta de Zafarraya. Es una ruta que hemos hecho otras veces. En el 2009 mande una queja al Ayuntamiento de que parte de la salida de Periana fue un vertedero. Escribí al Alcalde, cuatro años después esa parte de la ruta esta más limpia pero sigue con basura en forma de plásticos en el primer tramo. Es una lastima por ser una ruta muy transitada y una que se puede disfrutar en familia. En la Baliza "cruce" se puede tomar el camino a la izquierda para hacer una ruta mas directa y más corta saliendo en la ruta de hoy donde la Baliza "Bridge Over". Es una ruta muy conocida, que no tiene ni dificultad ni misterio, y es apta para todo la familia. Tiene vistas por un lado del Pantano de la Viñuela y del otro del pueblo de Guaro. Antes de llegar a Venta de Zafarraya la ruta pasa por un túnel y por el merendero y parque de los niños. Justo a lado, debajo del puente está el lindero de las provincias de Málaga y Granada. Así que hemos andado desde Málaga a Granada.
