Playa La Cala – El Bombo
This nice stroll along the Senda Litoral in La Cala which starts from Plaza Blas y Pedro Postigo Cuevas, at the far end of La Cala next to Olivia’s Bar.
Playa La Cala is the longest beach in Mijas (1.25km), and one of the nicest in my opinion.
Pick up the boardwalk and carry onto El Bombo beach (850m) where the rocks are and then do the return journey along the waterfront.
There are many places to eat and drink, and some good chiringuitos on the two beaches.
