Playa Torrenueva – Miraflores, Mijas
This easy beach walk starts from Las Mimosas car park, mainly because there are a lot of parking spaces (even when it’s busy).
Head towards the beach and pickup the boardwalk. The first beac section is Playa Torrenueva which is 580m in length. Carrying on it merges with Playa Miraflores which is 750m in length.
Just past the bar / restaurant El Juncal (which is a good spot to have a coffee and watch the world go by), go down the steps and return along the water’s edge.
These two beaches are relatively quiet but there was a good amount of seaweed washed up this time. There are some rocky areas that are great for bird spotting.
