Port Valais - Le Bouveret - Saint Gingolph - Le Bouveret

We started from Port Valais. There you can see lots of small boats while walking around the area. The closer to the lake the bigger they are.
We parked in a free zone (using the disc - up to 8 hrs). The other option is to go to the aquaparc parking (5 CFH/day) or use any of the parking lots nearby.
Just after starting you can see the aquaparc, so in case the weather is too good, might be also a good idea (https://www.aquaparc.ch/).
And few minutes after down the road you will find the swiss vapeur, which is a local attraction where you can go by small trains all ofer a swiss replica (https://www.swissvapeur.ch/).

Keeping in the track, you will start bording the lake but there is a moment when you will have to cross the railways and walk through the sidewalk. There are lots of cars and would be way nicer is possible to walk in another place, but all the small paths you will see in the side are just entrances to the lake houses.
Along the way you will have the chance to admire the lake with Vevey, Jaman, Montreux,... in the other side.
Once you get to St-Gingolph you will need to cross the Swiss-France border. This is just a matter of walking and suddenly you are in France! There was nobody in the place so nobody asked us anything.
We kept walking a little bit longer until we reached the beach. Very quite place for lunch and go into the water if not too cold.

The return was pretty much using the same path. One difference is that we explored a bit St-Gingolph and once we reached again the road we realized we were already in Switzerland; not even crossing the border this time.

Easy, nice walk, with good views for everybody.

Empezamos desde Port Valais. Ahí puedes ver un montón de lanchas / barcos pequeños mientras caminas por la zona. Cuanto más te acerques al lago más grandes serán los barcos.
Aparcamos en una zona gratis (usando el disco azul - parking hasta 8 horas gratuito). La otra opción es aparcar en el aquaparc (5 CHF/día) o usar cualquiera de los otros aparcamientos cercanos.
Nada más empezar te vas a encontrar con el aquaparc, y si el tiempo es muy bueno probablemente no sea una mala idea (https://www.aquaparc.ch/).
Y unos minutos después siguiendo el camino te encontrarás el swiss vapeur, que es una atracción local donde puedes ir montado en pequeños trenes mientras recorres una réplica en miniatura de Suiza (https://www.swissvapeur.ch/).

Manteniéndonos en la ruta, empezarás bordeando el lago pero hay un momento en el que tendrás que cruzar las vías del tren y seguir por la acera. Hay bastantes coches y sería mejor caminar por un camino, pero todos los caminos que veas a mano derecha son solamente entradas a las casas del lago y ninguna tiene salida.
Mientras camines tendrás la oportunidad de admirar el lago con Vevey, Jaman, Montreux,... al otro lado.
Una vez que llegues a St-Gingolph tendrás que cruzar la frontera Suiza-Francia. Simplemente tendrás que seguir caminando por la acera y cuando te des cuenta ya estarás en Francia. No había nadie en el puesto así que nadie nos preguntó ni miró nada.
Seguimos caminando algo más hasta que llegamos a la playa. Un lugar muy tranquilo, ideal para comer y en el que te puedes dar un chapuzón si el agua no está demasiado fría.

La vuelta la hicimos usando más o menos el mismo camino. La única diferencia fue que estuvimos explorando un poco St-Gingolph y cuando volvimos de nuevo a la carretera nos dimos cuenta de que ya estábamos en Suiza, sin ni siquiera haber tenido que cruzar la frontera.

Fácil, buen camino, con buenas vistas y para todo el mundo.
