Itinerary description
Promenade Plantee is a beautiful 3-mile walk along a former railroad line, partly on a viaduct above the streets, and partly along a trench and tunnels below street level. It's nicely landscaped and lined with lots of art. On a Saturday afternoon in January, it was very popular with runners. The east end doesn't quite reach Bois de Vincennes Park, so this walk connects the two via city streets. Bois de Vincennes is a huge park with a mix of forests, playing fields, and landscaped gardens.
The walk starts at the Bastille Metro stop and ends at the Chateau de Vincennes Metro stop. This walk also includes a short detour for lunch to an excellent restaurant called Le Picotin. Highly recommended, and reservations advised, but we managed to get a table without one.

A part ça TOP, merci
