Itinerary description
Saint-Pierre-en-Vaux
We have gotten a route from the tourist information desk in Arnay-le-duc. A circle from Lacanche for about 10 kms. We figured out to start at the Moulin rouge, which was the turning point. 5 kms walk then had a very good lunch at Lacanche and turn back.
During the walk there are yellow signs, which help you to follow the path along. Because we watched some Birds of prey we missed a sign and we made our own route.
The official route is more through the forrest, while our is along some fields with cows and sightseeing.
On our way back we made the connection with the official route again. We created the 8 figure, but we missed the village of Serve.
The route has asphalt and forrest paths. There are a few steep sloops.
After a kms or 2 we passed a small church. If it is not open then call at the house next tot it. They spoke english.
A nice walk and the forest gives you shadow.
