Itinerary description

Tissaio mountain has a summit of 644 metres. The walks starts by a sign to Panagia on the road to Trikeri. Park your car here. It takes about two hours to reach the summit. The path starts opposite the small parking area by Panagia. The first half of the ascent is by woodland path. Follow red paint and some plastic tape markers tied to trees. The second half of the ascent is on more open ground. It is rocky and often hard to follow. You pass through shrubs and vegetation that make long trousers desirable. Keep looking ahead towards the summit. There are some rock cairns to guide you as well as the paint marks and tapes. There is no correct route on the open section just make your way towards the summit. Take care on the big rocks most are stable, but not all of them. This walk shared with Friends of the Kalderimi (FOTK) on their wikiloc page.
