Itinerary description
SW 1705 The walk is of medium difficulty. The first part is level and easy walking, overlooking the river, so if walkers wish to undertake a more gentle walk they can walk part of the way and return along the same route.
We begin a short distance from the reservoir, which we cross at the first bridge. We then walk alongside the river on the western side. After 3k we start our climb, 150m over 1k, on a rocky but wide path. This is the most difficult section but we can take our time and the views are well worth the effort.
We return downhill and after 1.5k we reach our original path and return following our original route, until we reach the reservoir when we cross the upstream bridge and follow the eastern side of the river back to the cars.
