Itinerary description
From the centre of Vélez de Benaudalla we climb up to el Castillo de Los Ulloa for excellent views of the pueblo. Then down to join la Ruta Biosaludable, obvious by its green pavement. We follow this along the road out of town to the bridge across the river, where we cross and begin to head back before crossing the carretera to join a beautiful riverside track back to the pueblo.
