Itinerary description
This walk starts at a gravel carpark at the start of "Via Verda d'Alcoi (Greenway).
There is a drinking water fountain here to fill up before you go.
Follow the Via Verda d'Alcoi, through some tunnels and over the Pont De Les 7 Llunes and through some more tunnels.
You turn off the Via Verda d'Alcoi close to the sports complex just outside Alcoi.
Continue following the road over the Puente De Fernando Reig. You are now entering the town of Alcoi and can make your own way back to the carpark maybe visiting a bar or two for refreshments.
We found this walk easy and walked it in our sandals. It took us just under 2 hours taking it easy, stopping to take pictures and admire the view.
The walking is relatively flat except back in the town when there are some roads that climb up to the level of the carpark.
