Welcome to An Portach Ciúin, a peaceful place to stroll, sit and soak up the natural world. An Portach Ciúin, meaning 'The Quiet Bog', was developed to be an inclusive space, open to all. As you enter, we invite you to take a deep breath in and while you exhale allow any stresses and worries of your everyday life to drift away, instead focus on the sights and sounds of this calming space.
Take a meander towards the North and South Wetland Viewing Platforms, or a ramble down the Soft Bog Walk or shelter from the elements in the protective pods. We hope you leave relaxed, re-focused and recharged.
