Drive using the long route from Longyearbyen to Barentsburg. The coast route was dangerous, a lot of ice. Better the safeties and well known route.

This is an Moderate trip, but you must know what you are doing. On the way is ravine which has to be crossed on a snow bridge. So the substance of the snow must be good.

Aborted trip to Cape Mugford...too windy! Went about 2 miles into the Kiglapaits above Manugak and turned back. Went to Webb Bay on the return....great to see everyone there enjoying the spring sunshine!
