    Lots of woodsy walking, so not overly exciting. There is lots of blowdown on Tumwater Mountain, so it is not very interesting. The campsite at Deadman's Lake was wonderful and almost completely bug-free in mid-August.

    Quite long but easy trip. There are water sources and also places to have a camp fire. A part of the trail going south of Fláje is a bit boring but otherwise beautiful trek.

    Not a very nice walk involving ugly city views except one nice view of the ocean. Getting out of Santander and neighboring towns was noisy since you’d be walking along roads with heavy traffic.
