Last stage of a 7-day trek from Kongsvoll to Innerdalen Steep climb to start, beautiful U-valley of Flatvaddalen and great views on Innerdalen
5th Stage on a 7-day trek from Kongsvoll to Innerdalen The descend from Lundlia to Åmotan is steep and can be slippery in bad weather, but the view on the waterfall Svøufallet is rewarding. The climb out of the valley i...
The small but mighty Blåhornet packs a punch in such a short distance. The second and main ascent is very steep and brutal on the legs but the rest is all good and tough but good trails. More spectacular views!!
Nice hike from the camperspot to the puffins. Make sure to go in the evening, the puffins will be there after 7pm.

Easy, comfy walk. Better views farther from the glacier rather than closer. It's easier to see when you back off a bit.
Last day of our tour around the Ålesund archipelago starts in Emblemsanden and brings us back top Sjøholt. Great views of the stunning Storfjord and Geirangerfjord entrance. Navigation was easy, but the wind in the fjor...
Great all road route in the middle of Norway, average gravel with some very difficult parts SG5 in it.
From Sukkertoppen (The Sugar Top), you can get a magnificent 360 view with both Alesund city, coast and fjord in one or.... you have to use your imagination if you get fog and pouring weather :) Sukkertoppvegen road s...
Hike up to the Geirenger version of the "Pulpit Rock." I preffer the view from here than from the boat, but there are 600 meters of elevation to get to this point.
Snow along the way in late June. Scrabbly in spots. Bring jacket for the top. Great views, great hike!
An asphalt & gravel tour of 70km with 1037 climbing meters around the hills of Alesund in Norway. The whole tour is possible by normal mountainbike with light tyres. Return from Hoffland to Alesund (last 5km) trough th...
You can rent mountain bikes at the tourist information office for only NOK 30 per hour. The tour is on pavement and gravel upwards and the descent is on a moderately demanding trail with a few rocks and roots. Beautiful...
No need to go to the Skagefla point of view to enjoy a peaceful view on Seven sisters waterfall with this hike. We did it in june when the weather was dry. It would have been more difficult on a wet floor or by rainy co...
We did it with someone with knee problems so it is definitely not hard. It could be a little bit harder when it has been raining for days. But in good conditions you will walk it out in more less 2 h.
The scenic coastal road to Kristiansund starts in the town of Bud. If you are sleeping in Bud at PlusCamping Bud, this is a tip for a pleasant evening walk. You will see coastal houses, the harbour and a German fortress ...
The downhill run at Stranda. We hadn't realised just how steep and tricky (due to loose gravel) this track was, so we took it quite easy, including one puncture, on the way down!
One way. Viewpoint Rampestreken is a fantastic experience. The lookout is 537 meters above sea level, and Åndalsnes is beneath your feet. Continue to the top of Nesaksla. The view is simply breathtaking! The hike is shor...
Nice hike in the forest toward Geiranger. No path to the hill top, but loop. Avoid the very last part which goes steep downhill. Better to come back the same way. Pretty slippery at the beginning. Mane sheeps around and...
A picturesque trail just off the popular parking spot. The path is well marked and definitely worth a short detour from the road. The trail was recorded on the way down, but it follows the same route. In some places spec...
Start with some forest and walk to the top ! Safe track, even in winter and don't take care about the estimated time, i did a lot of stops to take pictures
You start at the parking and follow the trail. Soon you will get to the stairway build by sherpas. You will walk 1400 steps. Then follow the trail up to the top, 522 m from the sea level. Enjoy the amazing view!
Hike we did up on the glacier with guides. It takes about 45 minutes to get from the parking to the start of the ice. The guides and equipment cost 600 Kronor. Only go on the ice with a guide.
Sukkertoppen in Ålesund, starting from parking at Hessa school. Slippery when wet!! Beautiful view along the path and at the top where you can also fill in your name in the guestbook.
A nice sidetreck just next to Kristiansund - excellent to stretch your legs before or after a road trip. The path is decently marked. You can either return the same way, or take a pretty steep descent to the other side.
