Attempt to Coma de Varilles that couldn’t be. Opening track in deep snow and avalanche risk too high. Two nice runs in the forest instead.

40 degree boot pack to the ridge and grade II scrambling over the summit. Otherwise an easy line, with lovely views, and an enjoyable ski descent.
About 6-7 hour hike in woods. Great for wood-bathing. Well shielded from burning sun. Took me 7 hours with unplanned detour where I lost 1 hour, 2400 kcal.
A lovely canal on Pic de l'Arbella, accessed from the Arcalis ski resort. We didn't go on to the true summit due to mist and wind.

Very straightforward hike. Follow yellow dots painted on rock. Make a choice of ascent or do the loop. Route up before lake has some simple scrambling and a wide ridge but awesome views. You will need hands at some poi...
Sceneric gravel road from Bixessario to Rubio. No camping allowed in the national park area. But you can find a nice camp down by the river in Sort. Have fun and be sure to follow our adventures on Instagram: project_...
Easy skin up the road. Line to ski down depends on the snow cover. Beautiful place, and being north-facing, the face holds powder. But if the snow cover is thin (as it mostly is) there are a lot of rocks just under the s...
Amazing track with small sections of TET Spain and wonderful parts through the Pyrenees and Andorra. Done with Africa Twin CRF1000.
A lovely tour up a slope where local ski tourers don't often go. Fun skiing back down, the cleanest line down involves a 30m skin up to escape the pla d'Estany, rather than do an awkward traverse through the trees furthe...
If you're looking for a challenging skimountaineering adventure with breathtaking views, the route to Peak Thoumasset in Andorra is the perfect choice. This route is ideal for experienced skiers with a good level of phys...
A variation of the tipical excursion to peak of Montmalus, lleaving from the parking place of Grau Roig we went up direction to the Lakes of Pessons, arriving at the first lake we went to the left bordering the lake dire...
Alt del Griu is, without any doubt, one of our favourite hikes in the country. With its 2.879 m of altitude, this peak is a natural lookout with incredible views of the Ensangents lakes, the Casamanya, and the Colells gl...
Awesome off road trail down from Spanish border. Nice and easy in the summer coming down to Alin. Epic drive.
Nice direct route up Pic del Fangasses. We skied down the south face, which is steep - over 40 degrees. You can take a somewhat more gentle line down the SW face.
To the Refuge de Comapedrosa and beyond. We did not go as far as the top of the mountain. Should you want that, we advise the route along the lake (path splits some km after the Refuge).
Great loop, although we skied it on a day of wild avalanche activity. Very unusual for Andorra. The traverse right on the descent was to avoid steeper slopes, given the conditions. Normally you can do a fun ski straight ...
We skinned up from the uppermost parking in Arinsal with the intention of ascending Pic de Sanfonts. However, at around 2700m we came across a massive resuce effort digging out the second of two hikers on snow shoes who ...
This nice trail starts just below 1800 m and winds up to the foot of Pic de Besali at ~2530 m where you can decide if you want to make the extra 100 m climb or not. The climb to the top is steep, but requires no climbing...
Estanys del Juclar is a classic Andorran hike for a good reason! The trail to the Juclar Lakes is the most popular in Vall d'Incles, one of the most breathtaking valleys in the country. It winds through forests, water...
This a nice hiking (you can also run it) that will let you to the highest summit in Andorra. Instead of going straight to the summit, we climb Port Vell and follow a path to Pic de Sanfonts and Pic de Baiau. We missed...
Lovely traverse of the Casamanya peaks. The ski down from Casamanya N is excellent - fun, fast, remote terrain, not nearly as popular as the normal route. Done with two cars.
Up corredor de la dreta of Pic Alt de Cubil, varying 45 to 60 degrees - starting early as the couloir faces directly towards the rising sun. Then descending the west face, mostly on skis, but we downclimbed one 50 degree...
Small family hike , easy . Completed with 4 and 12 year old and a puppy . As always my battery died and could completely record the hike .
Back into town to refuel diesel. Starting from Andorra La Vielle camp in the centre of town we drive up towards Natureland and on to the Security hut at Col Pimes. Here we pay our E25 to enter and have our passports elec...
