2 day hike in Dovrefjell with plenty of musk oxes, impressive to see! We hiked to Reinheim, opposite site of the river next day. The path isn't always easy to find, but a beautiful area!
You need to cross the glacier with a guide and rope. Book your tour at Juvasshytta before you go. The route is mostly walking on loose rocks and snow.
This is a long and tiresome climb with the most amazing view on the very end, a rather unavailable peak. In july there is loads of flies (also the biting horseflies) allmost up to the top, probably better for september. ...

Nice views. Varied track - be aware that it might be slippery where it's steep, especially while raining. You have to climb even, but of course it's worth it!
11km with bicycle from Kleva-Jøldalshytta-Svartådalen to a bridge over the river. Walked up to Trollhøtta. On the first top we got a top view into the Litjhelvetet (the little Hell). Ended the tour at Trollheimshytta
This route starts near Krona, school campus, passes through the ski resort of Kongsberg, to reach its highest point at Korset.
Very beautiful active hike to the glacier. Don’t worry if you don’t get to the top, the hike is breathtaking nonetheless! Startpoint can be reached via a gravelroad. Beautiful restaurant at the start/endpoint where you c...

Very nice hike from the Eikhamrane campground to the waterfall of Raunsdals. The view is incredible and worth every step. Afterwards we extended the hike to the top of the Hanakamb. The level of the hike to the Raunsdals...

A picturesque, moderately challenging route with great views in the heart of Jotunheimen national park. Good if you are new to the area or don't fancy some of the more technical / difficult routes around. Note that this ...
Note, this is a challenging route, most of the route does not have an easy path but you walk your own path over the rocks. It starts at the Prestholtseter parking place with an easy horizontal nice path, then follows qu...
Nice mountainbike loop from Klokkarstua. First half of the loop has beautiful and technical paths. Lots of roots, stones, steep climbs and best of some fast and technical downhill action. First half can be done almost c...
Sloaros is the name of a DNT unlocked hut about 14 km northwest of Hovden. Starting fra the alpine center, you leave Hovden on a prepared track taking you almost up to Krosslosskarvet. Be warned - there is a quite steep ...
Great senic route over the Krossbu mountain - you will walk 600 meter across the mountain unmarked, so follow the the route;-) It is tough at times, so not for children and non-trained mountaineers.
An easy trekking made difficult by the lack of snow equipment like poles and snow shoes (NECESSARY!!!). The trail is easy to follow with the T shaped signs and the poles stuck in the snow. This is a winter/spring only ro...
In Saebo, a steep and rocky path goes up to a very beautiful viewpoint where you get to see far over the Hjörundsfjorden, from Blindheim to Björke and the surrounding mountains. Not an easy climb, especially on a rainy d...
Cross country skiing, mostly in machine-prepared trails, but also including short distances with backcountry skiing in unprepared trails. The route was kind of difficult in 2007, but in fact better now with more machinep...
During the second part of my Scandinavia experience in June 2016 I hiked the rather famous "trekanten" (or triangle) in Norway's Trollheimen mountains. Trekanten is a 63 km trek between Gjevilvasshytta, Trollheimshytta a...
Second stage of a 7-day trek from Kongsvoll to Innerdalen A lot of large boulders on the way to Snøhetta, not recommended in bad weather or poor visibility
One of the Seven Sisters hikes. Summit is 1010 M approx. It’s a challenging walk at times as scrambling involved across smooth rock faces, with snow melt more slippery at this time (May 23).
When starting from Gjendebu, there is a very steep ascent up a mountain after a kilometer long hike along the Gjende lake. The hiker must rely on chains in several places to proceed, but they are well placed and secure. ...
