Great way of El Camino. We were headed to San Vicente de La Barquera but the rain after Santillana del Mar was very hard and windy.
Pretty hard piece in the middle. Very hard to walk without a GPS. Hard to find path. But very pretty!

Inaccurate!!! We loved hiking this in reverse. However the last mile did not exist. We ended up hiking an extra 2 hours trying to find our way to finish! Either the trail had grown over or it was wrong.

Nice and easy walk with plenty of Pico views but no technical difficulty whatsoever. In the way there is plenty of drinking water, more on the side of Espinama than on the Sotres side though.
